In this week’s podcast, Anna Rendina a Health and Nutrition Coach, shares her journey into health and wellness, her personal experiences with self-love and mindset, and the importance of self-care routines. Anna is someone who believes in the impact of good nutrition on mental and physical health, and the significance of nutritional education, and in sharing her knowledge in coaching and retreats she can support women to live their best lives.
As a co-founder of Rendina’s Biodynamic Butchery over 24 years ago Anna’s experience and knowledge with food and nutrition was always prominent. At the age of 18, diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome, Anna always felt in tune with her body and knew when things didn’t feel right. From that point, her journey began, seeking natural therapies to heal.
As the family grew Anna became more and more focused on clean food and a clean environment for her family. For many years working with naturopaths and holistic integrated practitioners Anna thrived on educating herself and became more intrigued but, it wasn’t until she hit rock bottom that she truly discovered her passion for wellness.
After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in early 2020 Anna decided to further her knowledge and become a certified health and wellness coach. Anna felt there was a gap in helping women navigate perimenopause and wanted to be able to help women understand the importance of overall health and optimal well-being.
Burning the candle at both ends, restricting calories and focusing on the scale for so many years would take its toll and Anna’s holistic approach to health and well-being is based not only on nourishing your body with wholefoods but creating an environment for thrive.
As an NLP and functional nutrition practitioner Anna’s mission is to help women become the best version of themselves in all aspects of their lives.
Her definition of Self Love is accepting yourself and knowing that you are enough.
